2. How do you become eligible to be a small business of the year?

2025 THAP Small Business of the Year Voting Eligibility

1) Must be a pre-registered and in-person brunch vendor to be included in voting.

2) Must be a 100% black or minority owned small business.

3) Must earn less than $150,000 annual gross income.

4) Vendor registration deadline is Tuesday, November 25, 2025.

5) Prizes: 1st Place $250; 2nd Place $150; 3rd Place $75 and 1st and 2nd Place will receive a 2026 Gold Level Membership to the 5508 Minority Business Community, 5508 Business Incubator Program, and 5508 CoWorking & Collaboration Exchange.

6) THAP paid staff, contractors, and consultants with personal businesses are not eligible to be entered into the vote for Small Business of the Year.
